anybody from nor-cal remember drag boat racing in oakland ca, and in fremont ca, in the bay they used to drag where the old fremont drag strip was ( baylands race-way park ) this was in the sixties,

I only went to 1 race in Oakland but a whole bunch of races at Baylands. I was more into cars back then. From 83 to 86 or so, I went to quite a few races down in Chowchilla.
I was pretty bummed when Baylands closed.

I can't rember how old I am But........ :) I rember Climax, Western Mag Special, Crazy Horse, Hot Tuna, Isn't that a sandwich? OAkland marina was the stomping ground! Cool to think back!!! :cool:
