July 8,9 same place as last year. I would imagine we should start seeing a flyer pretty soon from JWP.

I remember talking to the owner of Howard saying he would never ever have a regatta. He was a total ass. This was about 5 years ago.

Last year was the first official Howard Regatta. Todd @ Jokers Wild did an awesome job and Mike and Gene were very pleased with the turnout and positive atmosphere. Should be 10xs better this year because more people will be there and I won't be afraid of the lake with the new boat

Well I had to miss last years because I had 2 weddings to go to, but I'm not gonna miss it this year. I'll probably be the only one there with a 23 offshore. :rollside:

The 23 is a lot different than the 22. My 23 is real skinny and a small seating area. With a long bow.

Only to other "fire guys"! After reviewing what I posted though, it looks like I need to check my grammar! What I meant to say is, " Maybe some of US will win some prizes this time". Thats no BS, thats how it was! :) Seriously, I am really looking forward to the regatta. They can only get better every year.

I talked to Mike Willen this am and he said flyers are going in the mail soon and the regatta is a 100% go. They are just slammed in the back with boats and behind schedule. Use the Jokers Wild Promotions website in the meantime to register. Thanks, Nick

That weekend is during our annual Powell pilgrimage. We'll have to bow out this year. Last year was a blast for the whole family! One of the best parts was an early morning breakfast run to Springs with GT and one other Bullet (with an HP525 I believe). 3 Bullets flying low with zero effort, anyone get a picture?

No way, bring that 23'. There was not one there last year and I saw another one in someone elses avatar the other day. It was red and white. Last year we had our 21' and there was 3 or 4 others and everything else was 22 Offshore, 25 Bullet, 26 Cat, or 28 Bullet. Even if you brought your check book they are so booked solid right now they would probably tell you to wait a bit. Everyone who went last year had a really good time and the turnout was great. Nick

Ya I was joking. It would be kinda cool being the only guy there with a 23. But on the other hand I wouldn't mind seeing another one. As for the new boat, it's tempting but a house is first on my list. Someday soon though.
