I think it is impossible to take a picture on Lake Havasu, without getting a picture of a Magic deckboat in it.

It's the happiest on Havasu and your boat might be a little heavy in the rear to get in there if the lake is down.

Or just win a Superbowl or something to get the pass to D-Land......
if you do go invest in props...

I can't count the number of times I have hit botom going back there, and all it does is polish your prop. If you've ever gotten stuck trying to squeeze two boats between a narrow section of the reeds, and had to jump off to free the boat, you sink to past your knees in the mucky bottom. Really soft, sucky goo. I think the plants decompose, and make it what it is, but it won't hurt your prop.

If you like hot, smelly, muddy places this is the spot for you. Ask where Disneyland is. There is no current there and the "recycled" Coors lights make a nice ring around everything. Fun place but icky.

The laid-back moments at Havasu are becoming more and more scarce.

Thor, the spot is called Disneyland, and it's up by the sandbar. If your heading north, it's before Blankenship Bend, and is marked by a couple of buoys.
If you've never been there, you would need someone to show you, because I guarntee you, unless you knew better you'd never take a boat in the entrance.

Ah yes. Thanks again for the nice remarks. My '07 will be the same only different :boxed: . Red again (of course), dropped on air, but DuraMax. Hell, they will probably be rolling out stock at 800 ft lbs by then since they keep raising it every year. :)

Matt and his thirty friends took really good care of your boat. I only saw him spill one or two Mai Tai's from the turtle bar on the carpet. :)

Okay I know your probably not gonna tell but where the heck is that one. That is one nice thing about Mohave that Havasu doesn't have. Sandy Coves. You have to go up river to find them but they are taken usually and that's where the drunks go driving 100 mph to the sandbar and such.

Ah, you were there, eh?
It was real close when I got out there. About two inches between their bow and the side of mine. It would have just been their rub-rail to my gel, but it sure would have left a mark. It was nice that someone saw it and brought it to our attention. Couldn't see the boats from where we were sitting.

This cove is not far from Gasoline Alley on Mohave and is one of our favorite

Nice picture from the turtle. It wasn't that calm the weekend of the Desert Storm poker run. You couldn't find a parking space anywhere close to the turtle. To beat the crowds we stayed over at Havasu landing. No launch lines. :rollside:

That explains it then. It is Mohave and not Havasu.

That nice someone was me. Thank you for the offer on the beer, but my three year old just could not wait any longer to feed the ducks around our boat.

I figured that must have been you. I was trying to get you to admit it! :)
I really do appreciate it. I have helped several other boaters with stuff, so I guess it came back around. That's what it's all about. I could tell you were on your way out, but I still owe you one.
