There is no telling how high that auction will go, I mean the motor alont is worth ~ 30k..... I just hope who every buys it, keeps it toegther.

A friend of mine has one of those SOHC's still in the crate that it came from FORD Racing in ... I was present when a fellow offered him $85K Cash and he, my friend, just Laughed ... The guy had the Cash too. In original condition, those motors are Priceless ... In solid rebuilt condition they're worth more than $30K.

$31,211 The last one of these I saw sold for 35k and it needed a rebuild.

was outboard steering in use back in 1969-? I thought the old hydro's were
all inboard steering from waay back.......... most (if not all) of the ski hydro's
I've ever seen were all inboard steering...
