Jet Boat Performance Parts

Hello to all I am new here but thought you guys could be the ones to answer all my questions. I have just recently bout a 1997 14" Regal Rush Jet Boat with a 175 Mercury powerhead as an engine. The boat tops out at 55 what kind of mods can I do and where can I get these mods you will be speaking of. I have heard of changing the impellar pitch and maybe something with the rev limiter. I dont want to do anything to the powerhead. So what are my options gentlemen. Thank You in advance.

Most of us here deal with bigger motors, however I did have the same motor as you in one of my boats a long time ago. The consensus is that there really isn't much you can do to make that motor faster other than blueprinting it. Also unfortunately your hull and jet will only accept the powerhead that came with it. 55mph is pretty respectible for that setup.
