I need to buy a decent towable / tube for my kids. What do you all recommend for a fun towable that will work good for one or two kids?
Ones I am already considering are:
Rave Mambo
HO Bomber
Rave Razor
Big Mable
All opinions and experiences appreciated!

Wego Kite Tube!
No, really, it is not for small kids. We like the Connelly Mega Wing Deluxe. Also, we have been thinking about buying the Revenger or the Airhead UFO. Check out Overton's.

The megawing looks cool, but that thing is HUGE! I think I need to keep it under 72" wide. Any favorites among the smaller ones?

Yea, that's what I found out with the kids too.
The prefer one ya sit on,, not in.
We use the Big Mable,, recomended by other board members.
I ordered it through the Overtons link on HD.
They have a good return policy.

Tuff to go to Havasu or Parker and buy a towable there. High prices, picked over or no selection.

Well, I bit the bullet and got one of these:

Airhead Slice, 60" - about as big as I can strap between the rails on the bow of my old school jet boat. I think the flat top was a good idea.
Will find out Tuesday how it works! Thanks for the input guys.

My buddy has the Sumo Tube. It isn't that great. His son that is 12 said it was ok. It doesn't roll like you would think. His brother who is a bigger guy just got pulled under mostly. I have read reviews on it, and most say that you need goggles, otherwise you get water in the eyes the whole time.

I stick with the old tube. Some of these newer towables are so huge you need another boat to get the thing to the lake or river.

My favorite towable is when my boat is behind my truck on the way to the lake  :rollside: :rollside:

For what it is worth, my kids (11 yr. old girl, 14 yr. old boy) both absolutely LOVE this thing. It is very easy to ride but bounces around enough to give them some excitement. It doesn't steer, so the driver has to make the action happen, but the kids couldn't be happier. It seems bigger than what is in the picture above. Got it for $80 at boatersworld.com , free shipping with $100 order. Highly recommended!!
