We purchased most of our stuff from Ashley furniture. They have a store in Havasu.

I have been trying to deal with them but they say it takes 3-5 weeks to get anything.

I don't know if they have one in Havi, but we just got a steal of a couch at Wicke's furniture. I think Rev. WIlliams is sleeping on it right now!
Seriously though, good deals when stuff's on sale!!

I understand, they told us that they are extremely busy and alot of the furniture has to be ordered.
You could buy it here and rent a u-haul and truck it out yourself.
We did that with the first 2 bedroom sets and the rest we ordered from ashley in Havasu.

I am concidering that, cuz the pieces I want first are available here now, but by buying here I am spending more $ and then have to spend $ on trailer and tow (yuk). I dunno, wait and see I guess...

Like Uncle Larry said, Windsor Square. They aren't the cheapest, but they sell items right off the floor, have a good selection, and will cut you a better deal if you ask.
Oh. and I have some dining room furniture for sale in the spam section :rollside:

Furniture By Design. Ask for Chuck. Tell em Frank sent you. Delt with him when he was at Sofa City (burnt down, now Chilis). Stand up guy, good ideas and pricing.

FYI, you can buy JCPenney, and they'll ship to the Havi store for pickup when you're ready to get the items.
Target.com, Walmart.com, and Overstock.com also great if you want pieces you have to build.....many look great (especially for a 2nd home), but are reasonably priced.
Finally, I used ebay for used furniture that was selling in So. Calif. area for pickup only (and brought it out piece by piece in a truck with each trip). Got a great day bed w/mattresses and double recliner this way.
Ebay also worked for some new items (barstools, accessories).
Good luck!

If you are "low budget" there is a consignment furniture store on McCulloch called Consign and Design..... Also St. Vincent De Paul's furniture store on Lk. Havasu Av. gets some VERY nice pieces in...
