OK here's a question I have. Iam trying to get an idea of how far I can go on a full tank. Now that the boat is done, bout time. If I stay close to 5mph buoy line and do onelap from West Marina and back anyone know how far that is?
I know I know, with a jet you get lousy mileage, I just wanna know before I got to the river if I can run from Laughlin to the Sandbar (hee hee hee) and back without stopping for gas.
Thanks all!

Buy or barrow a hand held GPS. They start at about $150.00, and for what you want to do would work great. Then you can see the actual distance traveled and true speed. Hope this helps,

To give you an idea, I launched my old boat from the casinos and drove or drifted to sandbar and drove back with plenty of fuel left. It was a 21' 454 jet, held about 30 gallons.

lake elsinore west to coorslight cove =3 miles if you follow the contour of the lake. a full lap i'd guess to be just over 7 at the bouy line. but i hate that nasty shit hole

Yea I know I know, Elsinore is a green, at times smelly lake etc. BUT, since I can be in the water in 30 mins and NEVER have to jump on the freeway it's pretty damned nice to be able to test out your boat or just go for a quick couple of laps. In my perfect world I would have a house on the river or the lake, but since my world just aint quite perfect :) i'll settle for the green slimy lake in between river runs :)
