My trim gauge is off. Gauge shows just under halfway with drive all the way down. Goes up from there. The drive appears to be working normal, the gauge is just off. Can I adjust it myself?? (496 mag HO, bravo 1x)

Yes. Turn key on. Trim the drive all the way down. Then go to the drive, and on the starboard side is a round black cover (looks like a little hockey puck). Loosen the two screws that allow it to turn, and turn it until your gauge indicates the down position. Tighten screws, and have a beer for a job well done :rollside:

Gonna try it right now. If it's that easy, I'll give you a beer for saving me the trouble of taking it in for service. Stay tuned.

If that doesn't work, you have a bad trim sender. They are a real pain to replace

Anything cold :rollside:
Better yet, someday we'll meet at the river, and share some beers :)

Thanks again. We'll be in Havasu next weekend, maiden voyage with the new boat. Stop and say hi.
