question for the cat people.
i really dont know chit about cats other than i want one :D
the only cat ive ever gotten to drive had very low sitting seats and it wasnt very comfortable to drive.
also , the vibration was pretty bad. i wont say what it was. dont want to insult anyone.
who makes a cat with high sitting seats and a berth up front?
ide like to find single inboard , comfy ride , with a windshield?
is there such a thing in a cat?
stock power , 70 mph is enough.
thanks ,
fng

as far as windshields go, you'll have to end up with something with twin canopies. a 26 daytona, or mach 26. as far as berths up front, the daytona from 25+ has a padded area under the deck. the htm has a ton of room under it's deck but does not have any type of canopy or windshield. good luck, keep us posted on what you find out.

you need to go for a ride in a 26 daytona. like dallas i wasn't sure about the canopies at first but after the first time above 100 they are awesome, i've had the boat out in some pretty bad water and it seems to handle it pretty well

thanks i've been stoked with it so far. it has two seats and a bed under the deck, there is not alot of head room under there but it is o.k. for the kids.

power:540" chevy/olds, 14-71 blower,a little over 1000hp.
drive: bravo xr 1.24
so far 105 mph on gps, i got it in the water at the end of last summer so i don't have much time in it and i have yet to get a real top speed on it. I'm not positive on the gear ratio either i thought it was a 1.25 but someone told me it must be a 1.24 this is my first outdrive and my first cat. love'n it so far :D

The 28 Magic Cat seems to have a ton of room, depth and it(doghouse's) looked great running across Lake Pleasant on New Years. I haven't riden in it, but it looked great. His is the cuddy/bowrider crawl thru- the room and storage in the middle is huge. Its like a hide-away for his kids.
Here is his site with some pics!http://members.cox.net/bcurnutt4/Magic_Cat/
Good luck

The Magic Cat is an awesome lookin ride. I love the "Mini Me" shots...how big is the "other" boat besides friggin huge. Boat030's ride is sweet under the canopies...makes a 100mph feel like a stroll in a park. Very fast stroll but smooth!
