Interior layout

Hey all, I am at the point where I am ready to do the interior on the BTO. I am conflicted about what style of layout to go with. I have the 2 little ones (2 and 6) so I need to have a covered engine. I used to have the old mini engine cover with the two seats in the back corners with a pair of front/rear buckets. I really do not want to go that route again. I was thinking about 2 front seats and a rear bench with the engine cover with a scoop but am really undecided. Any opinions and pics would be greatly appreciated. If any of you built your own seats , dimensions would also be appreciated.Thanks...Joe

Whenever I finally get around to doing mine, I'm going to do something like this.

Only difference will be where the front and rear seats come together, they won't be joined like in the pic, the front will wrap around it self and the rear benches will have their own backs. That, and I don't want the old school tuck and roll, I want something more modern. The engine cover will be a flat style all the way accross with some kind of scoop.

I used to have the cocktail seating like in the second post. When it came time to redo it, I switched it up a little. We can't do an engine cover but we did do the bench and it works very well for us.
Seems most people like to face forward and it's also way more comfortable when the water gets rough.

Well I put a long bench down the passenger side, and kept the engine box. I don't like putting a bunch of stuff in the way of getting to the engine. We like to look back at our skiers.

These are the only pics I have of mine on the computer here..... Driver's seat that will swivel & the wrap-around seat across the back & opposite side.... Can look at home for more where the driver seat is actually in it, but the pedestal sitting there kinda give s you an idea... Couldn't decide what to do on seating when I redid the interior but found the factory layout to afford the greatest amount of room, so I stuck with it. Glad I did... :cool:

Make sure you leave room for the cooler! With the kids you'll need plenty of Capri Sun's and Gatoraid, amongst other cool refreshing drinks.

Oh yeah, can not forget the capri suns. The ice chest will tenatively be located under the engine cover. One side will be the ice chest and batteries, with the other side will be storage with the motor in the middle.
