I just purchased one.. Im sorry to say that I dont think you will have any luck finding a 224... they are a new model and anyone who has one is not letting them go.. I looked for months.. and ended up purchasing Al Sokers personal boat.. Got really lucky.. I will keep my eyes open.. but .. if he is looking to get a used boat.. he may need to get the 22.

Give Al a call. The guys who buy his boats usually over time have buy more than one. That would be a good place to start. (714) 827-7920

Im running 94mph at 5100 RPM with a 28 prop and 136: As far as the angle .. Im not sure .. Al set it up and said not to touch it..They look pretty even to the bottom to me.. but 3 turns of a bolt can loose you 3 to 5 mph is what I hear.. If you running 90 with a 27 , I would leave it alone.. You should call AL and ask him how he sets them up.

Jackpunx- I'm 1000 miles north of LA in Portland OR. so don't get down that way.I will be at Lake Shasta the weekend after Labor day on Rock-it man's houseboat fot the first annual cat attack.I talked to Stoker and they said run the cav. plates straight back and parallel with the hull.See the thread in Hot spots west. for info. on the Shasta deal.Where do you normally boat at,I go to the Columbia river as it's 15 min. from home.
