I had one of my freeze plugs fall out and was wondering if I could use a rubber expansion plug instead of a freeze plug. I can't get a swing to nock the freeze plug in.Will the rubber plug hold up to the presser of the jet.

I hope so, 4 of my plugs are rubber.
I like to get the sand out every now and then.

Thanks, did know how the hell I was going to get the plugs in there. This is going to be a lot easier.

I allways keep a couple of the rubber ones in the boat for spares and a wrench to tighten it. Had one fall out of my first jet in 1975, have never needed the spares, but you never know...... TIMINATOR

Double up on the bildge pumps and stay close to shore, when the rubber plug falls out, hammer the gas, just to see how fast you can sink the boat........MP

I forgot to mention that I run a bypass system. This keeps the pressure in the block down to about 20lb or less.
This should reduce the risk of popping a plug out.
