I am launching at Crazy Horse. I think its 10-20 bucks for a day pass and their lagoon is blocked from the lake so no wakes as you drop!

Launch at site 6, Its free!!!! Drive across the bridge and follow the road to the end. Its paved and a decent spot to park your ride. We all need to meet up at a certain spot and then head into the channel:idea:

Todd your better off launching at crazy Horse no problems with LEO there with noise. at the others you might get checked.. we launch the flatty there with no problems... its worth the money to launch there imo

I think Mike (Roost) will be there with family for that week. Maybe HallettDave, Vic and Tony. I also talked to Tim and I think he is going to there untill the 5th.

It just depends on how early you get there some areas are deeper and on more of an angle to launch. There is not really a designated launch ramp it is dirt and some guys park their trucks with their trailers in the water and day camp there. So as the day goes on the launch ramp gets a little smaller but is still better than waiting in two to three hour launch lines at site six. When I was there on Memorial Day I saw a couple fords launching tournament boats but they needed a couple guys to help them push the boat off the trailer. But this was later in the day and there weren’t many lines to choose from.

Good luck getting day passes on a holiday weekend for crazy horse. This memorial was the first time they have done day passes on a holiday weekend and it was $90 for a two day pass (sat&sun). Then you had to drive out and park in overflow. :) :)

My mother knows the owner Gary. They had a trailer in there for about 8 yrs. Hopefully Tami the manager will get me in if not ill drop at windsor. Either way at 5:30 am it shouldn't be to bad. I'll worry about getting out when i have too!!

For those of you that are thinking about launching at Body Beach here are a couple pictures to help you in your decision. Body Beach is more of a jet ski hang out but I see boats being launched there all day. In fact, I saw a F150 launching a Sea Ray type boat there this last Saturday. The only problem is that you need to get there early. The best spots fill up first and the jet skiers park on them. You want to launch to the left or right of the launch that is were it is the deepest. When I have gotten there late the middle is always open but if you launch straight out you might need to venture out into the water a ways and you may need to do some rocking to get you boat launched. If you look at the cove picture the white van is the best place to launch next to the picnic table. If you get there first save me that spot. :D

The early birds get to park on the water. Even though it is not the best part of the launch area to launch, they usually leave the middle open for those that need to launch. The parking area is not as organized as Arizona Telephone Cove more like the Nevada Telephone Cove. Park where ever you like just don’t block someone in and I am sure you will be ok. Some park along the dirt ramp while others park over to the next cove. I showed up about 10:00 AM on Memorial Day and still found a good place to park.

Here is the last count. 396 and someone else might have a few more boats out there. Hopefully everyone can get on the water early so we can meet at 7:30am. This should give us a good opportunity to get some spots in the channel. I got new subs to install the day before so i should be clean, charged and ready to go on Saturday!

Didn't launch my boat there this weekend but I have launched it there before and I didn't have any problems. However, I have headers with baffles. Here is a map of the state park. I think you can launch jets in the PWC area. If you launch there watch out for the sand bar on the left and right. Drive straight out past the buoys. There is also a lot of lake sea weed at Lake Havasu so try to avoid it so you don't get your pump clogged up. If you go up river also watch out for all the plant and wood particles in the water.

I was just going to warn you about the watercops. DO NOT DO WHEELIES in havi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got pulled over during springbreak for doing that. They mean business when they stop you too! I got a warning but they dont like that one bit.

No worry...next time. Trump Tight cleaned his boat, installed his stereo and is on the road to LHC from BHC. I will be heading out in a bit.
