I'm looking for a steering cable to be installed in the 951 or 909 area for my jet boat. I currently use a marine shop, but feel like I'm getting hosed everytime I go there. So I need a new marine shop can anyone point me in the right direction?

I just did mine myself. I took out the old cable (30 min) and ordered a new on from Dana. I measured the old one for them because the pn on my old cable is no longer available. Dana sent me one out that worked.
I installed it with no porblems (30 min).
I would give this job a difficulty rating of a 1 on a scale of 1-5. 1= easy 5=Don't try yourself, or be willing to pay someone to fix your fu%&up.

I replaced my F/R cable myself and don't expect the steering cable to be any different, but my problem is I have no time to get it done in time for my river trip in 2weeks.

I replaced mine also, not difficult to do.
If you cant do it yourself try GS Marine in Corona, the owner Greg is super knowledgable with jetboats. Mine is there now for some insurane issues.
