Yep, he's on the boards, but can't remember his screen name.
Don't know purchase price, but I doubt it would be that much.

Ultrajohns' boat looks very similar to the JJ boat.

Yeah, Jesse sold it. The new owner is on here. He goes by the name of UltraJohn. He does run in the Delta area. I don't know what the boat sold for.

John West set us up with an awesome deal on an awesome boat. Steve @ Ultra even took care of financing our old boat to the new buyer. These guys really are great to work with.

Yes. Ultrajohn has JJ's boat. Based out of Folsom in Nor Cal. $wise, I'm guessing about a buckfitey. :skull:

Yes, we have the Jesse James Ultra boat. It's an awesome boat and gathers a ton of attention. I don't think that John West or anyone else is ever going to do a gel coat like the one on our boat...so there's nothing out there that looks like it. I sure hope that no one tries to copy our gel.
We primarily boat on Folsom Lake, but will also on a rare occasion go out to Lake Camanche. Haven't been to the Delta yet, but made a Sac River run last weekend.
What does B.I.L. stand for? is that Brother in law? My brother in law (my sisters husband) is in Montana, but I don't think he's big into internet posting. My sister in law (my wife's sister) just got married last week. does her new husband now count as a "brother in law"? he just bought 2 jet ski's a few months ago and you can find him out on Lake Camanche.
As for the price...it cost me a boat + $17,000. I got the boat and my wife bought a $17,000 horse. seriously, i didn't know that they could cost that much. at least Penney is a mare and can eventually pop out some baby horses we can sell.
John, since you're good with birthing baby horses and I've never done it...can I send Penney to Uncle John's when she's ready to pop out a pony?
So how is that badass engine that they put in it? How does it run?

Yes John, please tell us how it runs...when it runs that is. Good thing you have a good tow rope.
We had a pretty good time...except for our motor issues. Thanks for inviting us along and a super thanks to Chris for giving us a tow.

Quit side stepping the question... no one cares about the trailer. Everyone wants to know why there are flames coming off of your boat.

It's a big motor and has some oil leaks. So I'm told...it happens.
:jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:
You may want to find a better source of info on engine builds...unless it is made by harley or the british. That beast should only consume, not leak.
Cram it up someones azz if you paid retail...just my .02

Ultra,
I hope u get that all sorted out, many of us wanna see and hear that boat run again.
Hopefully it is minor and it is not inherent in Derebery Performance Quality, especially in their 'beyon reason' motors- they charge a pretty penny for their builds.
attached pic is from their web site on your motor-SWEET!

Well, we bought the boat "used", so it's hard to complain about the issues we're having. Plus, a lot of items on the boat were given for free to JJ. It only had 6 hours, but still the boat is used. Our mechanic is going to check into the oil leaks and see what can easily be fixed. We already spent a good amount of $ on purchasing the boat and also on top of that some pretty expensive repairs so far. So, a little leak is not at the top of the list currently. We have plenty of other items that need to be taken care of first.
I would not exactly call 6 hours "used"

We used Greg's boat last time to launch balloons. The purple tends to get pretty dang hot. Greg has a nice big white surface on his deck.

Don't try to recoupe your maintenance bill, I know where you live. I may not be the fastest, but I'm pretty damn big (my boat, not my belly). And Greg, I heard there were a bunch of dudes with you on Tahoe this weekend? You know what Greg rhrymes with? Three letters, starts with a "f" and ends with a "g". We ended up going to Folsom for lunch and ended up in Pastie Cove, turned out to be a good little tie-up.

I think "ULTRA HUMMERS by JOHN's" boat will still be dead in the water this weekend so I'm sure he'll be hitting you up for a ride. Maybe you could borrow his S.O.S. stickers since there not doing him any good right now. Look forward to seeing you Crystal out there.
