I'm not a baller like you. I don't know if she'll come all the way up there, but she picks up and drops off the dogs for us. She even has a limo just for the dogs. She's $30.00 a day.

I just called there to see if she could fit you in. She was with a client, but her brother that answered the phone said no problem. Give her a call, her name is Cats. (Yeah, that's really her name) Her number is 619-561-4299. The company is called Plush Puppies.

Now that's funny right there. :D :D :D
John, you're just upset that Toby has more inventory for sale around his place than you've got in your shops. :D :D :D

The "W" Hotel in San diego is pet friendly and off the hook. A very nice place. One of my top three. Very nice lounge, resturant and bar. The most comfortable beds of any place I've ever stayed. Give them a call.

If all else fails...how about the Helen Woodward center? They used to dog sit for us when we had no other choice. They're just a stone's throw from you in San Marcos too.

On College Ave just south of the 78 is a place on the east side of the road. Been there forever and a couple of weeks ago while getting my car washed (next door) I saw them let all of the dogs out of their cages and run around for a while. I thought that was pretty cool as I figured those kind of places just locked your mutt up until you got back and took your money.
Good luck

thanks... wifey went ther today. NIce place, but 27.00 + 18.00 + 2.00 per dog per day, 3 days for 10 days..... better part of 1500.00 F-ing crazy! We need a reliable sitter for APX 3-400 bucks. NOT spending 1500.00 dollars

TOBTEK, Because I am a problem solver I'll help you out on this one. Drive down to Petsmart and get a set of these and toss them in the back yard in a nice shady spot.
http://www.petsmart.com/media/ps/images/products/detail/large/August05/lg_50682_49d99.jpg
The large one holds 5Gal water, and 20lb of food. Now, you said you are looking to spend about 3-400 bucks. This set up with tax will cost you about $45. Lets just say you spent $350 on a dog sitter. $350-$45 =$305. So, I just saved you $305 and a bunch of headache worrying about what do to with those 3 little ankle biters. I figure helpin you out of this bind is worth at least $200 (I'll PM my address where to send the check) Problem solved and you still got $105 in your pocket.
Don't thank me now, thank me after you get back from the trip. :rollside:

Toby ~ we left our animals with our vet when we went out of town with the in-laws (so there was no one left to watch the critters...). We had an option of having the dogs share a dog run instead of having to pay for two runs. She's been our vet for 15+ years and they take the dogs for walks in the grass yard every day. It's not fancy or plush, but it's safe and they're good to the animals - that's what counts to me! We took their own blankies and toys so they felt kinda at home... It's Dr. Val @ Alta Mira in Vista 760-726-8918
I also have a friend that uses the place on College by the 78 and she has good things to say about it...
