This is all you Kilrtoy. Just got my new PORAC (LEO) magazine. In the back few pages it list advertisements for departments that are currently hiring. LHCPD has one of the largest ads. First time in 16yrs I have seen an add for them. Couple of interesting things. They are giving $1,000 bonuses for phlebotomist (blood draws for dui/oui) and $2,000 bonuses for spanish bi-lingual. Didn't know Havasu had that many Spanish speaking only. They need to hire a new PR director to spice up their ad and sell the department better.

There are some great men and women on our PD, good family people that go way beyond the call of duty, things most tourist will never get to see !!!!
Killer would be a great asset to our local PD.......

I wonder what the qualifications are for the phlebotomist are? I wonder if being a paramedic would qualify me for the position? Slink, is there a website listed on the add that I can go to to see what the requirements are?

Rick, the only website was the one I listed in the original post. From the add in porac it looked like the normal duties of an LEO, just a bonus if a phlebotomist as well. Good Luck

Actually I'm going crazyy and getting fat not working. After the move and the dust settles, I'm finding something to do. Maybe I'll get a job at the Marina, so I could make it a friendlier, nicer place :)

I can be the city manager or finance manager... I will see that the proper allocation of city funds is given for boat ramp additions/improvements and other boat related facilities. 100% of the budget sounds about right :) :rollside:
