what a bunch of a-holes... i was their first customer this morning. asked the nice lady behind the counter for a oil filter for a 350 mag. she went in the back room, came a minute later and told me she had one, but would not sell it to me. i was told they were only for service customers. my reply in a very nice voice was "well that's a interesting way to run a business" well the gloves came off, she started telling me to leave ( that wasn't a problem, i was all ready out the door) she followed me outside where i was double teamed by the owner. he had nothing nice to say, but told me i would never get a oil filter from the EVER !!
don't worry big guy i won't be back.
this wasn't my first run in with the so called business man, two years ago he refused to sell me a oil filter after i told him i had my own oil.
please don't support this business, tell all your friends and all your not so friends.

can't you get a filter at AutoZone or Napa?

Go to a Napa and get the numbers cross refrenced.
If it spins on the block like my older mag then any quality SBC (small block Chevy) filter will work. I run Purolater Pure One SBC filter from Pep boys.
I am not sure if the filter on your year is relocated by Mercrusier.
If it a fuel/water seperator filter Napa can get those to.
F that place you went to. :crossx: They don't need the business.

Ditto ELVIS. There was a thread about a year ago regarding their brand of "customer service". Not only are they rude, they really pretty stupid when it comes to boat/engine knowledge.

I hate that place the owner John can come off and be a DICK at times.
He was giving me crap one day over not useing Mercrusier filters, oil ect.
Just go down to Napa and buy a WIX filter plus the Mercrusier filter are to short. I will not put on a filter on my 502 block that looks like it's made for
a Honda Civic.

Guess they are so darn busy that they dont need our money. Sounds like a place to avoid at all costs. Bad customer service will ruin a company in no time at all.

I feel your pain Elvis! I had a run in with them last year and vowed to never go back and to talk bad about them every chance I get. Can't believe they are still in business.

How in the hell can you run a sucessful business when you alienate all your customers, sounds like a recipie for failure.

I just called them to see if they would sell me an oil filter. She said no that the filters they have are only for the "Service Customer". I told her that they need to change thier customer service because they are getting bashed on many forums and they will indeed lose customers. Now they are calling my number back every few seconds to try and frustrate me. LOL I think it is funny. Please keep it up this is hillarious.

Who says they are "successful?" Just because still in business doesnt mean they are successful.

Just emailed the link to this thread to them and wrote, "this is how many in the boating community feel about your customer service".

You know what's funny is there is no way to make easier money then selling the part. Installing it takes time and effort. Mark it up some more and just sell it. How hard is that?

Run a WIX, did it for years on my 5.7L 350 MPI by Merc. Never a problem.

Do a search under Temecula Marine for an eyeful - hopefully that useless phuktard sees what the boating community thinks of him.
That's right John, you a-hole - remember me?
Uh that's not the name of the owner... SO I don't think you remember him?????
I've never had an issue there they've always taken care of me. I just went there and bought lower end oil and 2 water seperators. Just my experiance.....
