2006 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe [Archive]

I bought it brand new in August of 2005 and it has less than 700 miles on it. The bike is called a Black Pearl color (i get tons of compliments) absolutely flawless and in better than showroom condition. I added quite a bit of chrome to it including:
Sampson Fishtail Pipes
Power Programmer
Wider passenger seat with removable sissy bar
Beach Bars with chrome controls and braided lines
Nacell with shorty risers and chrome cover (one of a kind you won't find this on another Deluxe because the kit isn't even out yet)
I spent over $4000 for all these parts and chrome
I really love this bike but I just don't ride it as much as I thought I would so I am going to sell it. I am definitely going to get another bike in the future when I can make more time to ride but right now there just isn't enough time for me.

I know I know......BUT I'm gonna use the money towards getting a new boat. I'd rather get a boat than have my bike sit in the garage under a cover and not get ridden. Don't you agree?

Not yet man.....had a few looky loo's but no one serious.
Married life is good but the same man. Ha Ha We might as well been married the last 2-3 years anyways since we already lived together.
We finally moved into the new house on Friday and just trying to get settled here. We still have quite a bit of work to do at the old house to be completely out and it cleaned up ready for the new owner (hopefully find a buyer soon....know anyone??? :crossx:).
Flyer for the bike??? I can make one real quick....that would be awesome if you could do that for me.
Whats new and exciting?

PER HD website the Bike is only 16,995 and add tax and the 4k you invested and it is still cheaper to buy a new one with a warranty, or am I missing something

You could't get one OTD for less than $21-22k with the alarm system, upgraded wheels, Fuel Injection, tax, licensing and freight BS charges. I haven't gone recently and got a quote for one though. I paid almost $22k + all the upgrades of over $4000. I pretty much figured that I would have to eat the upgrades because like you said someone could buy one and do their own style for what I have in mine. So if someone had the choice between mine and a new stock one which one would you choose???? This is my thoughts and we shall see how it ends up. I just won't sell it if I can't get what I want for it.....its paid for so no need to firesale it.

Dan....Just a suggestion for ya. Strip the seat and so forth off and take another pic. The back rest and passenger seat do nothing for your bike. JMHO!

Yes....unless it is a pain in the ass to do. It should be easy to do. Makes your bike look cleaner of course.

I just hope it works out and their house sells relatively quick.
F29? Ummmmm not gonna happen. F26 on the other hand might be a possibility but we shall see once I get all my crap sold.

Ya I know...I'm hoping someone is looking for a bike that is already 98% done and ready to ride instead of all the hassle of taking it into the shop and them having it for weeks to do all the work(trust me I know I went through it with Quaid in Temecula).
