Cute kids. Have heard those ski trainers work well. Wish they still made the trainers for kneeboards where there was a place to hold the rope while you get up on plane.

Those "gator boards" are the way to start either skiing or wakeboarding.
Ya can pull them by hand in the shallows as well.

I was looking for one of those on Amazon, since I had a gift Cert. and I couldn't find one, so I bought what must be the next step for my 5 year old. What we bought has 2 separate ski's with a bar connecting them in front and a rope at the back. The 1 problem I see with that is that the tow rope is partially connected to the handle bar and I'm worried that he'll get to much direct pull.
I think I'm going to get one of those like you have for this summer. He is a little bit of a chicken. He said he wanted to learn to ski after seeing a kid on one of those on our last trip, but saying and doing are 2 different things at that age.
How much was it?

It was around a hundred bucks, shipped.
It's a waterfall, no slide. The kids jump off it anyway, so I guess I should have just put the slide in... :)

Those skies you boat are DANGEROUS!! When i was a bout 8 my step dad bought me a set. Tow rope connected to the rope that held the front of the skies together. When i fell for whatever reason he kept going (bad flag b!tch) and i kept getting dragged under water!! Very scary for an 8 yr old!! We took off all the ropes and i was up on the 3rd attempt! Never had a problem getting up after that. If your kids have good cordanation they will be fine on a set of small skies. Let them figure it out on their own. MY .02.

Beautiful girls (twins right), perfect grass, awesome pool, amazing landscape, and I bet you have a beautiful boat, car, wife, etc.
Please tell me you're 5'2'', bald, and have a little pecker.

Never tie the rope to the boat, cant see the other end but on mine it has a handle on it. make sure you let go as soon as they start to go down. I have taught several kids to ski using those. it helps if you have a couple kids at a time that way they kind of get into it and encourage each other. I always start by pulling them to the shore by hand a couple of times. some little ones 4-5 get freaked out if you start them in the water behind the boat by them selves helps to have another person in the water with them at first. with that said have a blast. teaching kids to ski is one of my favorite things to do at the river. find a big cove down river.
