We did it!!!!!!! We were looking very seriously at the 26 daytona, we have also been looking at a new company called
E-ticket,we have seen the boat once, and its a 28' cat (SKATER DOUBLE)with 1/4 canopies.we took a test drive at havasu, and this was the fastest boat iv ever been in.114 on gps with 750 hp!!!!!!!!!and the water was glass.
The tooling was impecable.zero porpoising and a price that i couldn't resist. If any of you are looking into a cat you might want to check them out. Cole

How do u like it? I've seen the white E-Ticket boat a few times and it looks good, yet different. Did the one u rode in have a # 6 drive??? It really is a skater splash???

Cole
01-02-2002, 01:31 PM
thats the one!!!!!#6 drive,it is NOT a skater splash, just the same lines, low profile cat with canopies,i have pics but how do i put them on line???
It drove like no other boat i looked at "and i looked at everything"what i really liked was coming on plane there was little bow rise, and turned in when cornering,we took a turn doing 50-60mph and felt like is was on railes, they told me the sponsins are extra wide,to help on cornering Cole

Excuse me if I am mistaken, but this sounds like more spam from e-ticket. From their post in the past it just has the same sound to it. Again, if I am wrong my apologies and congrats on the new boat.

Cole

mrhavasucat,This is not a spam!!!!or what ever you like to call it,to tell you the truth i saw "your" post a couple of months ago,and what was out of line were you and a few people on this board, talking about a company who is trying to build a boat of quality and performance!!Check into a company before you start rumors of your nature,do you have a you have a personal vendetta against them?
by the way if you think i am
in ANYWAY conected to e-ticket, i am not!!!
I live in Newport beach ca and own a motorhome rental business. So please do not start crap in which you so like to start again. Cole

Hey Cole- congrats on the new ride. As if there's not enough go-fast cats around here. http://www.goldenplasma.f2s.com/forum/smilies/happy06.gif
However, chill a little on MrHavasuCat. Awhile ago, someone from e-ticket was posting in this section, and let's just say...hmmm...not being totally honest...and leave it at that.
No reflection on your new boat, I think everyone is just a wary now, if you know what I mean.

114 MPH with 750HP in a 28 foot Cat. I seriously doubt that GPS reading. If your stats are true than that is the fastest 28' Cat ever made. I have a 25' Cat with 750 HP that is just pushing 105 mph in ideal conditions. I might have to buy into the spam theory myself. Just don't buy it. I also think that is one of the ugliest designs out there (E-ticket). Just my opinion though. I'm out there almost every other weekend in the summer (Havasu). I would like to see a 28' with the same ponies beat me in my 25'.
Then I'll believe it.
Peace out,
Shiznit

Cole, congrats on your new purchase. Isn't buying a new boat awesome. Also very nerve racking. If you do go to Gary at GT Performance you will not regret it, but do it soon, he gets very busy as the season begins. Did you calc the slip of your test ride? That speed with 750hp is faster than any single engine cat I have heard of and a number 6 drive takes more power to turn than a bravo. Good luck and oh yea, I want a ride.

Haven't calculated numbers yet on the slip, thought you could help me on that!!Anyway will be going back out in a couple of weeks to give them some more $$$$. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/frown.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/frown.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/frown.gif
I'm not buying that boat, there building me a new one,but they would probably take us out and let you check it out for yourself!!!! "i just want another ride" And for the GPS, who knows, maybe there just BSing me to buy a boat, but i dont care it was still flying http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif Cole

The guy responsible for the E-ticket boat is Scott Kornowski.I live in wisconsin and purchased a 75 sanger super jet that he had completely restored with the addition of mahogany stingers and floor.Scott worked at eliminator in Shawano Wi then opened his own shop that was geared toward hot rods and street machines. He is personally responsible for getting me and 3 other friends into boating. His talents are many he is very creative. When he went to Havasau he began tooling and design with Nordic.I have a friend that visited him in November and brought back some video of the 28 ft cat.He built the trailer as well.He had center spread in hot boat for a radical daycruiser jet that he customized.I have no stake in e-ticket and no reason to embelish.Scott did not splash the scater or copy its dimensions. He worked with experts on the hull design and was prepared to make changes if they were necessary. He said there was no porpoise and no trim tabs were used.Stop by his shop and visit with him.He is a fun person to be around and his enthusiasm is contagious. That boat is really cool. Now,maybe he will build a 21 ft that I could afford.

Cole

Del51 very well said, you are 100% correct.Scott is responsible for this project,"HE HAS A BOAT THAT IS COMPLETLY UNIQUE IN DESIGN AND LAYUP" and it is...."FAST".....i dont know all the details on his design, but i do know it is as light as a 25 daytona, or lighter, the sponsins are wider than any cat i'v seen ,with a beam that is over 9'2",this boat really packs air, mine will not have center pod which will help even more.
Also scott and brad helped Dave @ DCB with his "2nd" 34 mach in dialing it in.they completly reworked the molds to straiten them out and make that boat right.
We have somthing new here guys and it..... "WORKS".... you need to step back and maybe accept, that there might be a new design here that can compete with "HTM OR SKATER"......or what ever!! do yourself a favor and go check out something that might be the next big new thing....."i did and i bought one http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif"....Cole

shiznit its cool http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif i know a few people also that dont like the lines of canopied cats ie; 36 skater or the 26 daytona, but we all have our own tastes.
Did you ever sell your 25 warlock? yours is a good looking boat i'v talked to you several times at the river and havasu about it!!! good luck with it http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif Cole

Thanks for the reply Cole. I didn't sell it last season. I decided to keep it through the end of this season. It's not that I don't care for the conopied look, which I do like them. I guess the e-ticket that I saw last year was probably the first one and it looked like they cut a few corners on the inside of the boat as well as the outside. I'm sure they have fine tuned their boat as I've heard they are selling a few of them.
By the way I don't remember you by the name COLE. Where have I talked to you in Havasu? Sandbar? Channel? Savage Marine? Just curious Cole. When are you going to be out in Havasu for the first run? I'd really like to check out these GPS stats. Maybe they were pulling your leg a little about the 114mph. Who knows maybe it's true and I'll have to eat my words.
Anyways good luck with the new purchase and enjoy. Did you decide on the motor package? Did I hear you say dual 2.5's? That should keep you satisfied for a while. J/K. What colors are you going with so I know what to look for?
Peace out,
Shiznit

shiznit wats up !!! going with a set of 2.5s that san diego eliminator has, they gave me a real "GREAT" deal on them!!!!.i hope im not buying trouble, they have been ported and polished and have DRAG boxes in them, this bumps the rev limiter to 10,500 from 7800, on pump gas. the owner of sd eliminater ownes them and will stand behind them if any trouble arises.
there boat wasn't really done until sept, so maybe you did see an imcomplete boat, they were doing a lot of testing so maybe thats what you saw. Cole is not my real name, its my babys name http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif my name is Craig but all the names were taken!! I saw you last spring at the sand bar and at roadrunner
Im at the river and havasu as much as possible with out pissing off the wife any more than i have too.... but she does let me go any time i want.so we have too keep her happy!!!!! Cole (Craig)

Congrats on the boat Cole. How about some approximate numbers ($$$$) if we can be so nosey! I talked to those guys in Sept at the poker run. They said the boat with the #6 and a 750 horse blower motor would cost about $125. Is that about right?

Cole,
I think if you read my post I am not trying to start any shit. I apologized in advance if I was wrong. As far as starting shit in the past you must have me confused with someone else. I was very nice to the people from E-Ticket in the past and even said I would try and stop by there shop in Havasu the next time I was out there. Good luck with the boat I will see you at the lake.

Craig there being very aggressive right now on price!!!!..... at least they were with me http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif They just want to get some boats out there.i am doing out boards that i bought used, and basically bought just the hull, trailer and interior and having
Gary teague at GT marine rig it for me!!!!!.I'm pretty much nickel and diming this boat together, uno selling all other toys,boats.....wife.... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif"any takers!!!!!!"
Depending on what your lookin for, io or out boards they are extremely eager to do business, new company and all, even the 28'with a #6 drive for $125,000 is a great deal http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif... But i would have them build you a boat, i would, you can choose the graphics of your choice.... i'm going crazy with mine

The boat the twins(S.D. Eliminator) blew over was a 21 daytona running on nitrious. That was about 4 years ago. I'm sure they sold those motors to someone else.
