Camp Far West

I hear that Camp Far West is the place to be for Father's Day if you are into boating, which is the best day to go Saturday or Sunday?
I didn't see any threads pertaining to Camp Far West in the Jets section, but I did see a thread over in the V-Drive section.
Do any jet boats show up for this event, if so, who is coming?

ya fathers day is pretty fun up there. all the reserved camp sites I believe are taken already but there are some first come first serve stuff left. I know that at least me and 4 other jets will be up there and hopefully another guy that was up there on memorial day with his blown alcohol hydro...watch out for the damn waverunners though. :mad: 1/4 mile cove is where we will all be at on the south end of the lake. :crossx: :crossx: :crossx: :crossx:

there will be a few coming down from placerville area and some will come up from the lake hogan area from the people I have talked too, i would guess about 60-70 jets showing up if memorial day was any indicator...we'll see! :crossx:

CFW goes all the week before too. The weekend is the climax and usually has a band on Sat. night.

I would recommend taking Wise Rd instead of Rioso rd. Wise Rd is a lot smoother. Wise is 1.5 miles out of Lincoln. Small sign. Turn rt, second stop sign is McCourtney. Turn left. 9 miles to south ramp gate.
