I am in the process of replacing my old steering system and bought the teleflex system from rex. I'm trying to keep the same look of the old steering system but i'm not sure what peices i need. Below is what i think i need..
This will replace the stock plastic bezel that came with the teleflex kit, right? (rex pn#457434)

After that would i then use one of these? (rex pn# 243101)

i f you call rex marine their staff is really knowledgable, i called them and told them about what i had and they knew exactly what i needed and sent me all the right stuff their number is, 909-592-1000

You don't need items 2 and three just one or the other. the 243160 is a multiple hole version of the 243101 (also nicer looking) the 243160 is a solid piece with the taper (and keyway) machined in it. It's the one I used.
