Call Jim @ The Catherine Hotel, 310 510 0170 good guy, they are one of the few hotels that will work with you in case you dont need all 3 days which the hotel cartel there seems to always enforce.

Good to know as we were just thinking of going for 2 nights. Sunday to Tuesday.

If ya can't get into Catherines:
We stay at the Hermosa Cottages or the Summer House.
www.catalina.com
SummerHouse works good on longer stays because of the kitchens/barbeques/nice patios/awsum views
Most the cheapie hotels have bathrooms down the hall.
So ask if that's important.
We don't care, but it's a BFD to some.

The Inn at Mt Ada is better than a cruise ship for luxury. Includes a golf cart. Only rules; no kids, no cell phones indoors. Its a b & b plus lunch and happy hour, bar and kitchen open 24/7. Only 6 rooms. Much more...

if you are doing Catalina correctly you are only in your room between 1am and 5 am max.
