t-man, good hear the 71.6mph,that's haulin azz for a taylor.i bet the new loader will get ya to 75.
my intake flow did chip alittle too.i just speedcoated it to seal it up.after the pump rebuild i lost a few mph but holeshot is mean now for a heavy lake jet.did you hook up your nitrous yet?

Ok i cleared them. No nitrous yet. I have a while before i do that. I need to get back to the intake flowing to finish it up. I need to get a angle die grinder to sand with. Boat ran great this weekend. I had my ride plate 3* up and i lowered it to 2* which made a huge difference in the ride. I need to get that loader and i want a new impeller and wear ring.

I Need To Lower My Plate Too.its Real Dry At 3 Degrees But Porpuses Alittle When I'm In It Hard At Wot.didn't Do That A 2 Degrees,besides That, 2 Will Keep This Bow Down Better On A Hard Launch.man, When You Get The Loader And No2,its Gonna Be At Least 4-5mph Faster Tman.that'll Put Ya Near 76-77mph.only Sj's That I Know Of Doin Mid 70's Is Mine And Yours.goin To The Taylor Meet This Weekend At Broken Bow,wish You Could Make It.

If I'm not mistaken, its a '73 SJ. Gotta blown Chevy in it. Don't know if he's GPS'd it or not.... It does move out pretty damn good though!

looks mean! i can't do a blower on my 78 sj cause the fuel tank is like 3 inches in frt. of the crank pulley.brett taylor(taylor boats)is building a blown bbc for his sj.bet it'll do low 80's at least,he's got a nice pump set-up and runnin it at the taylor meet this weekend.hope to talk him into a ride! maybe see what a no2 boat will do against similar blown boat.no2(200hp shot)fed bbf vs a blown bbc,should be interesting,even if he hands me my ass,lol.
