Do they work on stock powerplants or do you need tons of horsepower for them to really be effective? I have a 22' with a 454 that has 365+ hp. What do you think?

It'll work. You need all the help you can get with a sled that big.

It might work but you still won't be able to keep up with that purple flame boat from this past weekend. :)

They drag at lower speeds. My boat didn't like the droop at all. Borrow one and try it before you buy.
