For the 1000th post wanted to say Adios!!
I'm leaving the west coast for a new job in Kansas City. I've truly enjoyed my time out here. It's been a pleasure....
While I've spent most of my time in Phoenix (Lake Pleasant), the trips to the zoo, catalina, mohave-dam runs, powell and mead were all memorable. I'll have great memories of this beautiful part of the country for the rest of my life....
It's been a pleasure meeting all of the west coasters. I wish I could've met more but sometimes family and the craziness of this crowd may not have mixed well  :D :D
I'll be hanging my hat at LOTO from now on. We're building near a small lake in KC so I can sneak to the lake with the tater tots and keeping the big boat docked at LOTO.
If you plan a trip to midwest/LOTO........lemme know......
Take Care.......

Leaving in a couple of weeks.......We're going to keep the kids in school out here for a while......May try to make it until summer. I'm commuting back every two weeks until we sell the house and move......
We'll do this until I can't be away from the family any longer........It'll be tough...........

Hey at least there are some killer places to store boats out there and it is cheap. The have mountains, well relly rolling hills, that they have mined out I think it is limestone. Anyways, they converted those to storage facilities and it is cheap. Always 65 degrees and dust free inside as well. Wish I could have something like that here. I think storage for a 35' motorhome there is under $100/month.
Tim, will be be on the Kansas side or MO side? I do 3 meetings a year there on the Kansas side of KC. We'll have to hook up for lunch.
It is actually a really really nice area (Kansas City, MO). I love the area where the Capitol Grill is (cant remember what that area is called).
Only problem is that it gets too cold.
The airport in Kansas City is also my favorite I have been to. You walk in 1 door, security is right there, and your gate is another 15 steps. You can get tot the airport 8 mintues before your plane takes off and still make the flight.

working lots. Had to close one company and it really took a toll on me. But I think things are getting back to normal. Just lots of legal issues and such. But it's a new year and upwards and onwards. It's a good thing ultimately. Probably lost one friend here on the board over everything, that hurts more than anything.
But we need to stay in touch. Lake of the Ozarks thing is real with Jordy and I and possible another board member planning on being there with boatloads of people. Looking for a houseboat for that weekend.
Stay in touch Tim.

That must be nice. Apparently 45 minutes isn't enough time here anymore. :crossx:

Got the fourth marked Rob.......look forward to seeing you guys out there.....Jordy, you bringing the spectre with clamp-ons?? I don't think there's too much to hit at LOTO if you stay in the middle.....

S.A. It was nice meeting you and you never know you'll probably end up crossing paths with a few HB memebers again somewhere down the line. Just because your moving doesn't mean you can't stay on the boards. Take our West Coast Philosophy to KC. I am sure they could use it. :rollside:
