Need a new bbc

phock! After a month in shop the pump is finally back in!!!!!!!!!!! Just to find out that the #4 cylinder has NO compression (great, I'm suppose to be leaving for Havi YESTERDAY.) Now the question is re-build or simply drop a another motor in? Figure $1500 to $2000 to rebuild... might just be better to get a new one. Any suggestions or leads???? :messedup:

talked to a guy at summit catalog yesterday they have a 454 ho crate motor at 425 hp for 4899 right now and shipped to your door is 169 extra
