Heres a link to the BFG (http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/assets/pdf/mud_terrain_ta_km.pdf) specs
I dont see that they make any thing over a 18 and they only have 2 tires that are E rated. I'm running 37x12.50x17 BFG mud's on my truck right now and the tow rating has me a little worried when pulling my Weekend Warrior. I've been waiting for Toyo to get there s*#t together and put some tires on dealers shelves. If you can find them some where you have to give up a nut to get them.

Tell me about it, I have needed new rubber for about two months now, I cringed every time I drove to the river on slicks (and no spare) My distributor called me and said he found four here localy so I took em but the price is way high. I havent taken the 5th wheel out this year yet because of the condition of my tires so atleast now I can rest at ease driving across 150 * asphalt this summer......

San Bernardino wheel and tire, I don't think they have anymore in stock, at least in the 20" wheel. Those things are like gold since toyo is on a national backorder. Every place else says 4 to 6 months to get that same tire, I guess I just got lucky.

My BFG's only have about 10k on them so it's not that bad but when your pulling 16K down a hot highway I want a tire with best load rating.
If any one can hold out a couple more months Toyo should have there new "American" plant open and this should ease the pain of availability and cost.

contrair monfrair, I have BFG all terrains....37 x 12.5 x 20" on weld wheels. Bitchen tire, expensive, Load range D They are good for 3085 lbs. per.
If you load up your truck too heavy for a D rated tire, I think you are going to have problems other than the tire. Unless your driving a 1 ton or better.

I love my Toyos, the best truck tire I have ever ran, that is why I put them back on the truck. I had to rebalance once in the 30K mi. they all wore pretty evenly on my dodge. I have ran the BFG before and wasnt very impressed, but for half the cost might change some peoples mind.

Anyone looking for a good price on Toyo call my buddy Rick Teter at Wheel Warehouse. I worked with him for a couple years. They are the largest Toyo dealer in So Cal and one of the biggest in the US so they get the first allocation of most sizes as they come off of back order.

I am @ 33k on mine, they'll probably last another 10 if I'm that unlucky. I hate them. They hum, and they pick up more nails and screws than anything I've ever had. I also notice that they feel lopsided when cold, like they've developed flat spots from sitting. I've been told that their is some tendency to develop flat spots untils they warm up because of their steel belt construction, but I don't completely trust my source. I will never buy these again.

Thats interesting. Comparing them to the BFG Mudders is like night and day for me. Those mudders were loud as hell and rode pretty bad too. I'm liking the MT/R's so far. It seems like they're wearing even (which they should because I rotate them every oil change). I have an F-150, maybe you have a heavier truck and they rode different? (I'm just taking a wild guess with that one).

F250, and half of those miles are towing either a toybox or a boat. I really don't like them.

I run BFG All terrains too, they are indeed D rated. They don't come in E, at least in 285's. The load range is fine but the sidewall isn't quite as stiff as an E I guess.
I have a 4 door K3500 Single rear wheel silverado, long bed and run a 9'6 overcab camper and pull my boat or Jeep with no problems. I jut pump em up to about 5 lbs under max and they do great, even through sand. :boxed:

285/75/R16 BF MT on my F350 Dually. They are only D rated, but their rating is as high as some E rated tires. We tow a 40ft ToyBox and our boat alot and we still get 50k + out of them. We rotate every 5-6k miles.

michelin i think 285's.. 80k on them in still have enough tread for another 15 - 20 thousand.. rotate every 5k ... last set i had yokohama and only got 70k out of them. there on a 03 f250 4x4
