Anybody been to Millerton Lake?

Planning a camping trip and someone at work told me Millerton near Fresno,CA was a good spot to boat camp. Anybody have any experience there?

2 weeks every summer... I have not been there is yrs but it was a great lake to boat camp.....

i live 7 mins from the water and make the 45 minute trip to pine flat. The camping is good but in the past few years millerton has been totally overrun by lake lice (launch ramp rentals) and wake board boats. add this to the fact that the wind normally comes up in the evenings and the sail boats come out. I have never been to millerton that it didn't totally beat the crap out of me and my boat.. Never had a bad day on pineflat but i don't know if there is camping.

that lake is getting pretty bad,try going up the hill a little further to pine flat
or don pedro both great lakes to camp at. :crossx:
