Well, to start, we were moving this weekend. well, as I started my Bronco saturday morning, I heard a not so nice noise coming from my motor. well, it turns out, that I blew out a crank bearing!!! it was moving a good inch or so, by the looks of the harmonic balancer going in and out! so needless to say, my tow vehicle is out of commision for god knows how long. I have to try and find another motor. it has a 302 that was punched .60 over. I am going to look for a 351 now I guess. funds are way limited after just moving. boat will have to sit for a while!
guess we will see you when we see you!!! yep, I am REALLY pissed!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a 78 bronco with a freshly rebuilt 351M for sale. You can have the whole thing for $400 if you come to Arkansas to get it. :rollside:

Hey I'm in the same boat as you. Blew out my transfer case, which turns the rear drive shaft. So that has to be rebuilt! Also, at the same time I blew out the cv joints on the front axle. Have to be Replaced. Oh yeah opon further inspection found out that my upper/lower ball joints were about to snap! So I'm getting all this work done, again. This is my work truck and tow vehicle!!!! Did I mention that were leaving Thursday morning for a lake trip?
Fun, fun!!!! This is how I feel right now.... :220v:

I got two 302 blocks sitting in my shop.
1) is a spare parts
2) was in my 70 Bronco until the oil pressure dropped to 0. I am pretty sure its just the oil pump drive. It's complete without carb. The heads on it are nearly new.
Probably just needs to drop the pan replace the shaft and maybe replace a couple of bearings.
Let me know if your interested.

Well, you are in good shape. 302's are plentiful and there are boat loads of parts.

I was told a 351W is the same as a 302, but that the 351C and 351M are both big blocks.

460 jus getn it
