I tried to get the day off, but couldn't find anyone to cover the shift. It would have been a nice day with the family.

Have them by the station. Some of my daughters best memories are of when she would come by the station and visit.

That was the original idea, but they are going to spend the day with the wifes dad. Starting with brunch.

I was working on my lap times this morning.
Then I was working on my bike....getting ready for Mammoth.
Right now I'm working on my "words per minute".
In awhile..I'll be working on my skills in front of the BBQ.

Welcome Sum Bitch.
I'm on a 72 too.
Started Fathers Day with a high rise drill. Marched up ten flights of stairs fully loaded. Lotsa fun! :220v:
It's all good. I'll be in Havsu next weekend with the kids and we'll do breakfast at the beach in the morning. No harm no foul. My kids know what I do and it's the price we pay for getting midweek trips to the river (or the beach, or the Fair, etc.)

Our BC's all right, I think it's the Capt at 1's that wants to be a BC.

This is day 3 of 5! Last night was 5 after midnight with 3 follow-ups. BC has left us alone-nice day of alternate work uniform(shorts and flip-flops!). The only bad thing is all our families have been coming by with treats and I'm pretty sure the average blood sugar is around 1000 now for the station!
