My trim switch broke this weekend. Can I replace the red plastic piece, or do I have to replace the whole throttle? If so I would like to replace it with a Livorsi throttle, has anyone done this? I know they use different sized holes...thanks for the help.

I really liked that look, but I am thinking of switching to duct tape. I think it will get me a few more HP.... :rollside: :rollside: :rollside:

The duct tape will also hold up to the increased speeds :)

Why not a little epoxy?

go to the hobby shop and get some good catalist/cyanoacrylate glue for model airplanes...better than super glue/epoxy.

You can't fix it, it requires the purchase of a new boat.

they are still available new! they aren't that expensive (the red plastic housing that is) I have had to replace a few of them over the years that wer'e busted. It is not hard to do either!
