Need to downsize..... [Archive]

looking to see if anyone wants to upsize to a 27ft 2003 Warlock Vee,less then 50 hrs,motor is just loosening up....I need to downsize to 22-24 ft late model cat..perfer a Mach 22 as first choice,others could be considered..trades and cash.whatever.I will work with with a serious buyer..the boat is perfect...I need a smaller boat for a restricted lake.....a Warlock hull will not be effective in calm water..any leads would be appreciated....500.00 as a finders fee if a sale comes out of it..Warlock can be viewed right under this in offshore sport boats.......

Charley....move up to a larger boat..vee hull..there has got to be someone who has a smaller DCB or similiar small cat that needs a bigger boat for the rougher water..
No disrespect intended what so ever for any cat owner..the larger cats are awesome for rough water as well.....

no offense but I would take a Mach 26 over a 29' V in rough water any day wink ,,, I'm sorry man no offense meant, I just think "moving up to a V" is a contradiction in terms, especially in this forum :p wink :D

no offense but I would take a Mach 26 over a 29' V in rough water any day Charley,that's assuming the driver has the balls and skill to drive it hard enough through the rough water.

Hey Charley..I only wish we had as much going on out here "east coast" with cats like you do on your side :) What a selection...its about as quite out here on cats as is is out there in your offshore sports boat forum..I have my heart set on a DCB 22..second choice would be another Talon ..would love to find someone to buy this so I can get something like what Kab is selling :cool:If I didnt have to worry about my kids or other half freaking out in rough water I would have been in a cat to begin with wink

That 27 warlock is an awesome rough water boat. My friend had one that he used to run in the ocean all the time. Not to mention the success Warlock had on the race circuit.
Charley, I think it depends what kind of rough water we are talking about. I know I got beat up a couple times at Havasu in our Mach's when it got rough. Over 1-2 foot chop I would take the Mach, any bigger i would start leaning towards the V. In the Ocean I would not even consider the mach.

HPRON......KAB'S mach is offically for sale up at Ultra in corona,ca. Im sure they will accept yours in trade....just a thought, good luck.

2003 Warlock available again. DRASTICALLY REDUCED..recent deal fell thru at 72350.00.. person could not get finianceing..this boat can be had obtained for any serious offers close to the above mentioned price..new home construction is forcing me to let this go ASAP!!!.....This boat is a '10"......ready to go with all the extra's..any questions call 770-757-4433

thanks Tobtek...its a awesome awesome ride..a little more then I want to pay for the downsize,the objective is to sell this and just pay outright for something smaller..no note!..I have seen a couple others for a little less.....not to say that it not worth it..I really think if I had cash in hand I could do better then a trade..if someone does there homework they will find what I am offering is a HUGE savings verse any new Warlock 27ft..

I hear he has his eye on another boat wink Tobtek..gave it a try..negative response from them..the guy I spoke to told me that I would do better to sell myself..asked about the Mach 22 and he told me he couldn't tell me much about it..it was a special deal with the owner..owner of what..the boat or the shop..?..its a tough market..guess I will just have to sit on mine until things break loose and the Warlock sells..thanks for the lead anyway,probably better as I didnt want to drop that much coin anyway......
