Nw'rs...plans for the 4th?

Hey, what's everyone doing for the 4th? Most years we are not around for the 4th but this year we have no plans...
...and I don't feel like sitting on my front porch watching Ty shoot off Roman Candles...

well there is a jet/v-drive "parade" at havasu through the channel. i plan on doing that and hangin out at the lake for the weekend and try to not get killed by big boats.

If the weather is nice (and the boat survives Shasta), we'll probably hit the Snohomish. Kinda bummed out that I'm gonna miss the other guys there this weekend. I like to be there when guys try the river for the first time, and like it! :boxed:

Do they do any fireworks up there on the Snoho river? Fireworks are so much better from a boat on the water than from the shore!!!! My dad and I used to watch the fireworks near Needles at the Avi Casino...great show! You are right under the fireworks.....although you did have to be careful for falling debris!

I'd rather hang out on the river, and avoid all the city junk. My dogs absolutly freak during the 4th week. The 4th is on a Tuesday this year. GREAT! We should celebrate Americas' independance on the first Friday of July, no matter what the actual date is. I'll stop whining, I'm gonna go wash the Tahoe... :cool:
