I just bought an sr24 that was listed in boat trader and was looking at another from there also. The boat I bought was listed at a price that was out of my price range and I never even considered it. The owner of the boat was reading some of my posts on this forum and PMed my with a price that was more in my range and I ended up buying it. I guess Like like what corn water said once you hit the right price it will sell. Offshore only forum has a large selection of boats for sale, maybe thats another place to list it.

Sport-cats take the right person looking for that particular kind of boat.
Insurance scares people away.

Listed ours at ~$1k less than what NADA said it was worth and have not had any serious bites. Think I'm going to have to reduce the price as it needs to sell but I don't want to take a bath on it either although it is already paid for.

Also, it hasn't even been a month yet. Mine was in there from late July '04 and I didn't buy it until January '05. Some boats that I had looked at were still for sale one year later. Moving a boat, at proper value, is sometimes time consuming. I am not sure the quick-sale is very common.
I know that one place I always looked (and still do) is the Sleek/Magic inventory page. I am always seeing what is in on trade or consignment. The MFG websites will almost always post it there for you if you are getting one of their rides. If you are looking at a NEW boat, you may check into that.
OR, if HTM has used boats on their site, you might ask them to post it there, too.
