I love Park Moabi. We were there for 4 days last week. I just wish there staff had a clue. I spent way too much time fixing their mistakes.

The river can be crazy, but it can also be very serene and beautifull. Thanks for sharing the moment.

We were camped at site 21, until we found out that the spot was overbooked. Then we moved to site 12. Nice, but the beach was rocky. :yuk:
Saturday morning my friend went all the way the ranger station to try and reserve sites for next year, only to get told they won't make reservations in person. He came back to camp and did it on the cell phone. What a joke!
Well stated, the campsites are hard to beat, and the beaches are beautiful. The staff, is a mess, but what else could we expect? It is a government run facility! :crossx:
I love camping there. Will never camp Crazy Horse or Havasu again after finding Park Moabi.
Where else are good RV spots out there? I don't think Mojave has any, and Lake Mead is too low. From Overton it's a 2 mile hike to get to the water. :-(

I always call as I'm in the trailer first thing in the morning from the following year... to the day :D Then I drive up w/ my cash collected from everyone and walla! Done deal. But it is kinda a joke they won't in person. O-well... good thing we have cell phones :D

just got back...but I basically live there, 20 minutes away if i hit all the lights red...your camp site will be great, the river WILL be like playing on the freeway, unless you get out by 7am or after 6pm...still my favorite place

Riomouse 911 and I will be there on penninsula #9 from July 6-10 :p
Starting to get a little overcrowded and overbooked as any other camp site of that size. The challenges are rocky beaches on some spots, and out of control weeds on others---- A bulldozer once in a while would be nice.
This USED to be one of the best kept secrets on the river---- but no longer.

We will have #16 and #10 July 6-10 as well. #16 is all adults for our adult weekend and #10 is for the families without babysitters that weekend. We should have the UFC fight on Sat night on #16
