I'll make this one. My boy is in Little League All-Stars, and the tournaments prevented me from making it to this last one. Always figured I could go boating anytime, but All-Star baseball takes precedence. :rollside:

Sept 8th-10th sounds like a plan to me. Lake will still be warm and the crowds will be gone. If anyone wants to plan ahead and get a houseboat I have a good line on boats from Shasta Marina. After Labor Day is considered off season and rates are very resonable.

Drew , The Pittsburg shootout and seafood Fest is the same weekend Teague Custom Marine is the main sponcer this year ,it will be a LOTO type event with a 1 mile course set up and gps/radar runs and all can watch from shore . They are trying to make it a big deal this year with an offshore race also. I really need to be there so can't make Shasta that weekend..
Also did ya all know that there will be an OSS race at Lake Mead (VEGAS) SEPT 16-17 . Will be fun to go out and watch.

Labor Day weekend is the first weekend of September and might draw the largest group. The 1st through the 4th would be Friday - Monday, but count me in regardless of the date.
