Roller Lifters w/ GenV BBC??

Hey all, I have a GenV 502 that I'm rebuilding. I'd like to change to roller lifters and cam if possible. Is there any roller lifters available that will be a drop in replacement?

Comp Cams has a hydrolic roller lifter part # 887-16 that is a retro fit lifter. fits mark4, and genV

they carry the whole cam kit (cam, lifters, springs etc)

Thanks for the info. Are there any lifters made by GM Performance Parts that will work? I would like to use GM Performance Parts as I have somewhat of a hookup.

ck with ur hookup...i think they made a complete roller setup for the Mark V 502

you can also use the genVI roller cams in the genV block by useing the thrust plate to keep the cam from walking and the upper timing gear from a genVI.

I just did something similar
I started with a gen V1 454 with a stock hydraulic cam and hydraulic lifters
Here is what I added:
GM PERFORMANCE CAM #1236643 HYDRAULIC ROLLER USED IN 502 ENGINE. SPECS: DURATION AT .050 TAPPET LIFT (INTAKE/EXHAUST) 224/234
LIFT WITH 1.7:1 ROCKER RATIO (INTAKE/EXHAUST) IS 527/544
LOBE CENTERLINE 110 DEGREES
COMP # 924 VALVE SPRINGS, RETAINERS
CLOYES #9-3149 ROLLER CHAIN AND GEARS
GM12361323 ROLLER ROCKERS WITH LOCKS
MANLEY .080 WALL 3/8” WEDGED END PUSHRODS (25876-8)(25860-8) 4130
I ran into issues at first. I had to add studs and adjustable rocker arms to work with the cam lift, then the nuts backed off and bent 2 pushrods so now I am adding the roller rockers with polylocks and 1pc. pushrods.
I will know later this week how this combination works
Just make sure you are matching the correct parts.
