depends on how its propped. I did 109 last weekend. That was full tanks 2 people and a full cooler. It had a little bit more left in her , but i let off for a turn. Im also running a 31 pitch prop. Next weekend im going to have a full boat, so im going to try and find a 28-29 pitch prop and see how it works.

I think people are afraid to touch their equity for toys right now because of the changing market. I had a buyer for my boat in February for 20K more than it is listed for now. If it was a year ago both the boat in this thread and my boat would have been gone already.

Although I won't be seriously boat shopping until next spring, both of these boats, Havasu Cig's and Dirtracer's, would be on my list. However, I don't even think I could get insured on them, not alone reasonably. This could be a big problem with the used market for fast cats. Those who can afford $6k for insurance can afford a new boat with their custom gel, etc. Because of this I'll probably have to find an HO boat I like, or have a new one built for the same price as a used better boat I'd prefer.

I am only paying about 3k a year no B.S. speed #'s and agreed value to replace the boat. As far as having a new boat built, a new boat like mine will run you 185k and over 200k set-up with the same stuff mine has. I have a good friend, who ordered a new 28 bullet that he is taking delivery on friday. I couldnt spend the 130k, with some of the 170+K boats available in the 100K range. That alot of money to spend just to pick out a gel coat.
