500hp vs 502 with whipple charger

what would you brather have 500 hp efi or a 502 with a whipple charger? and why, what is worth more, thanks

i think if you were selling it the 500 would be worth more to someone.but you cant compare a 470hp merc to 650 to 700hp whipplecharged 502 they are two different animals.

Whipple'd 502. You'll still be bucks ahead after the first rebuild. This reasoning does not apply to the new 496 though.

I'd take the 500 and go put my own whipple on it and have the best of both worlds!
