Last night we had a storm and the power went out. The rain drove the F'n scorpions into the house. I was in bed and felt something on my head and when I brushed it off the prick nailed me in the finger. Now my friggin arm up to my elbow is tingling and hurts. When I say hurt I mean 50 times worse than a wasp or hornet. Shit!!!!!!!!!! Any cures out there for the pain?

Put ice on the effected area. elevate it if you can...And if swells or doesn't get better go to the doctor....
Good luck,
JB

You can also try an anti-inflammitory like Ibuprofen or something. That might help with the pain

TD, it may be too late but down here in Texas, when I get stung I make a compress, wet cloth and meat tenderizer, no garlic, smells bad, and it usually takes the sting away immediately.
Never tried it after a day or so, but it won't kill you to try it.

I tried that but I guess due to the area (end of finger) it hit all the nerve endings. WOW!!! The arm is back to normal now but the finger is still numb.
Good for making sadistic bets in bars!! :p
