Hemi motor in a cat?

Has anyone done this? I am new so hello all,I have a Blown hemi and would like to get some advice. thanks

Whipple has put one or two in some Eliminator Daytonas. Looked pretty cool. The motors were all purple :D I think Conquest also carries the hemi as an option on their boats.

A buddy of mine is running a twin turbo hemi in a 23' tunnel with a #4 speedmaster. It takes some custom fab work to mate up to Mercruiser stuff but can be done. What exactly did you need to know?

Nope, it's a Cheetah open bow tunnel. There was a lot of custom work that went into that rig to get the hemi in there but it's an awesome package that fits under the hatch and makes obscene amounts of power!

I was looking at the couger boats in canada but I would have to sell my ski natique, and the sanger mini day hull it seems there prices are good someday I will get one I just dont know if i should try it with the hemi or not?

If you're thinking Mercruiser outdrive, here's a taste of the custom parts that were either created new or modified to fit a hemi into a Chevy world on my friend's Cheetah:
- motor mounts, including rear bellhousing
- flywheel
- exhaust port adapter (to run water cooled BBC manifolds)
- raw water pump & mount
- steering pump & mount
None of it is a big deal if you have access to shop tools, but just know that it won't be a bolt-together/drop-in kind of deal.
