I hear runs to Cataline in a flattie can make for an intersting ride. :)

You're from Sanger...do people still boat at King's River? I spent my childhood there. Flattie and crackerbox races every night. Barefooting in the morning when the sun is coming up. Fouth of July fireworks. That place rocked. Now it is all 5mph zones I think.

By brother ran his old Flattie last year in Blythe, at Aha Quin. Everyone turned their heads when it showed up and couldn't wait to see it on the water! Just don't see many out there anymore. Have fun! All the places mentioned here would be great!

Yep, people still boat on King's.....There's a few 5mph zones. Good water skiing if there aren't a bunch of dip sh*t sea doo's in your way. :) I have a ski sanger and my brother, cousin, a friends all take their sanger flats there. We usually hang out at Lindy's (sp)....the next camp ground up from Royal Oaks. Water is a bit cold.... :)
Other good place to take flatties to is Big River......excellent water but water level can be low and the rock bars are not to friendly on prop shafts, etc.
