Freeze some and take it with you. Carne Asada is not something you can just buy anywear.

Albertsons on McCoulloch past Kmart going inland. Have bought it there several times, and it is good

I think the best is from Food City by Walmart, but the Bashas on the S. side sells it to and there's isn't bad. The Bashas Carne is a little thin so it cooks really fast, I always put a pie plate with a little water in it on the grill, to put the carne in as it is finishing cooking so it doesn't dry out.

Screw BBQ'in! It's too hot and you're on vacation....Go to Tecuala's on the corner of McCulloch and Lake Havasu Blvd....they've got everything there....My wife and I call in as we're pulling out of the water and the food is ready. Carne Asada tacos TJ style, fat ass taquitos with tons of guac, and Tilapia (fried fish). Their Horchata is off the chain as well.....cooking is overrated when you're on vacation! :crossx:

p.s. I am not sponsored or endorsed by Tecualas (LMAO)

Every time I (or any friend) goes anywhere near El Centro we go to Kennedy's market and buy atleast ten pounds at a time.
Tastes like the best taco stands in Mexico

I just saw this week that a Carneceria (I think I spelled that right) is about to open on Lake Havasu Blvd between Palo Verde South & Industrial.

I think the Arrachera and Pollo de preparar from Rodeo's in Vista or San Macos is better.... I haven't had the carnitas from Bennie's, so I can't comment :D
