iam going to hit the 15 from victorville, iam only going to be on the 15 for just a little bit. iam just worried about the 40. i could take the 14 to the 58, 58 dumps me at the 40 interchange. this way i miss the 15 all together.

Absolutely.
On normal weekends if I have to leave on a Friday night...I'll wait until 7pm from south OC. Usually a little slow on the 91 and then I catch the 10 a little slow in spots. However...that's a "normal" weekend, not the 4th.

the only way to go. put in a movie set the cruse controll and 58 here I come, people say it takes longer but anything is better yhan driving death highway threw crackdale....

we do this all the time, take the 14 to pearblossom but don't go the 18, stay striaght at 4 points then make a left at 90th, right on palmdale blvd take that all the way to adelanto and then the 395 to airbase then the 66 to the 15. it it kinda of confusing but is the quickest way to go.

All this traffic BS is just one more reason I love staying home during the fourth. Plus, there's a big party and fireworks across the street (huge park) all day/night. We BBQ, hit the jungle juice and bring the golf cart home for the community parade w/da kiddies. People around here get all excited as if they've never seen a lifted cart - :messedup: Too funny..

15N at Victorville...Overturned big rig lost a load of metal pipes blocking #3, #4 lanes..traffic backed up all the way down to Rancho Cucamonga. Damn glad I'm staying home this weekend. A buddy called me from Desert Center Rd off the 10fwy...not much better going out that way either. Be safe everyone.

Just got home from Havi.
The traffic was looking hideous going the other way.
Major delays on all the freeways leaving town.
I'm sure glad I had the lake to myself this week.
The Nuts can have it for the holiday.
Plan on the sand bar being flooded and copper bouyed off.

Once your on the 40 you should be cool.... Most of the traffic is getting to Victorville, and even then you can go through side roads up the Cajon and miss all that. My friend just went through and she said it took her an hour to get from the 15 and the 210 up to where the 15 turns in Devore. If you know the side roads it takes about 10 minutes.
