The only way I am jumping out of an airplane is after it has crashed.

Woohoo that was by far the best rush ever.
And if you saw the plane, you wouldn't say it was good, let alone get in it.
It was a blast, Can't wait for the next jump... :crossx:

Wings still attatched + Engine still running + Pilot still flying = Perfectly good airplane. :D
Plus, there is always the reason we pilots call skydivers "Meat Missiles"...

The best adrenaline rushes I have ever had were from falling from an airplane. I started skydiving about 10 months ago and try to get out there every time I possibly can. Expensive sport to get into, but once you get certified and your gear, it isn't too bad. A hell of a lot cheaper than boating!

Yeah, it is an extreme rush. I'm going to start taking the classes to get my Class A liscense. Each jump is only $60 for gear rental, jumpmaster assisance and the ride up for students at Marana Skydiving Center in Tucson. I am hooked...
And yeah, gear can be expensive, I was checking out some 'chutes when I was at the center and the can run up into the thousands of dollars range.

So....did you have a "man" strapped to your back?? LOL
My GF wants to try this .......Thrill seeking chick.
She gets more excited thinking about some 6'2 guy strapped to her like a mounted dog!!!!! :D

Thats cheap. I had to do 8 jumps with an instructor, two additional "coached" jumps, and twenty five jumps unassisted to get certified. Now that I am certified, I can jump for $21.00 each time. I think I was in it for $1200-1400 before I got my "A" liscense.

For a new rig, you are looking at around $4k for everything (container, cypress, main, reserve). After that, you have another $300.00 for a jumpsuit, $150.00 for a basic altimeter, $150.00 for a helmet, etc... In total, to get setup with new gear you are looking right at $5k. You can find some good deals on used stuff if you check out www.dropzone.com or www.gravitygear.com
Be careful..... It's addicting!

How? Jump from 200' with bungee or jump from 12,000' with a chute. I would say jumping from a plane is more of a rush and lasts longer. You can fall for over a minute parachuting but only a few seconds with a bungee

thats just it your are so close to the ground you have way more sense of falling on a bungee jump
sky diving is a close second in my opinion
from 12,000 the sense of falling is less cus there is nothing for you to get a sense of speed

I have bunjee jumped a couple of times. I think that skydivng is actually a better rush. Especially when you go unstable and regain controll. Best was a 14000' jump out of a tail dragger. I think I did 8-9 back flips out of the plane. It was a great time. You can also pull when you want. Believe me, coming from 14k' down to 3k is a lot. At 3k' the ground looks like it is right there.
I do think that bunjee jumping off of a bridge or into water would be a bigger rush. I only did it off of a bunjee tower at 75'. Was fun, but nothing too special. Off of a bridge or BASE Jumping would be a bigger rush.
What I am looking forward to is Perris Valley Skydiving has a jet (707 I believe) that they are going to start jumping from. That has to be a rush. Jumping out of a commercial airliner would be the best!!! Also P.V. does night jumps. Havent done one yet, but look forward to it one day. :)
