Linksys routers/WAP use 192.168.1.1
user name: blank/none
PW: admin
Try a reset if you have put a name/password and forgot it. Hold in reset button for 30 seconds to reset to default settings.

A WAP is typically going to get assigned an IP by your router via DHCP, itshould be in a similar range to the IP's assigned to the computers connected to the router. I have a linksys wap connected to a different linksys router and the wap has an IP of 192.168.1.100. Go into your router setup and look at the DHCP clients table and see what IP's are assigned, my WAP looks like it uses a host name of HOST1 in that table

Bingo. :) (That's always been a little confusing since it's assbackwards using "admin" for the password instead of the user name.)

If it's a wireless router most of them are 192.168.2.1. my Linksys and Belkin, and Dell wireless routers use it.
most routers that are not wireless are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
