Cam wont come out

Help. BBC. I have the lifters, dist, everything out that I think is supposed to be out but the cam will only pull out about and inch or so. What am I missing?
Any help is appreciated as I am the v-drive dumbass.

It may be caught on the bearing. Do you have a cam removal tool or a couple long bolts to screw into the front of the cam so you can get leverage on it. Some times you need to wiggle it up and down a little to line it up to come out.

I don't have a tool but I do have bolts. I have never had this problem before.
I'll try some longer bolts for more leverage. Thanks
